This product is a 4-1/2-inch diameter Type 29 (beveled-style) flap disc designed for aggressive grinding, contouring, and finishing of metal surfaces. It is made with premium zirconia abrasive flaps, bonded with resin adhesive onto a fiberglass backing plate. The Type 29 beveled design enables steeper grinding angles, enhancing surface contact for faster material removal and effective weld blending, particularly on curved or contoured workpieces. The overlapping flap structure ensures continuous exposure of fresh abrasive for consistent grinding and cooler cutting. This disc features an integrated 5/8″-11 threaded arbor nut for quick and secure mounting on compatible right-angle grinders, allowing tool-free disc changes.
