This product is a 4-1/2-inch diameter Type 27 flat flap disc made with zirconia abrasive. Designed for use on angle grinders, this disc features a flat profile for smooth grinding and blending on flat surfaces. It operates most effectively at angles between 0° and 15°, delivering less aggressive cutting than angled discs but superior control for flat work. The disc is contaminant-free, containing less than 0.1% iron, sulfur, and chlorine, making it suitable for use on stainless steel and other corrosion-sensitive materials without causing after-rust.
