Alpha AM12406 40/60 Acid Core Solder, 1 lb Spool

Alpha AM12406 is a 1-lb spool of 40 % tin / 60 % lead (eutectic-adjacent) acid-core solder wire with a 0.125 in (1/8 in) diameter. The integrated acid flux core is designed to facilitate soldering on oxidized and non-perfectly cleaned surfaces, making it suitable for “non-electrical” repair and maintenance tasks where more aggressive fluxing is required. This solder should not be used for modern electronics or circuits sensitive to corrosion but is valuable in general metal repair, HVAC, and sheet-metal applications.
