Closed-End Aluminum-Body Steel-Mandrel Rivet .313-.375 Grip

The Howmet / Marson BR4-6ASD-CL is a closed-end blind rivet combining an aluminum body and a steel mandrel, with a nominal diameter of 1/8-inch (0.125 in) and intended for material thickness (grip) between 0.313-0.375 inches. The “closed-end” (CL) design means the mandrel does not leave an open cavity on the blind side, providing a sealed joint against moisture and contamination. Ideal where protection against leakage or ingress is desired, yet strength and lightweight characteristics are required. Used in aluminum hood panels, tanks, or applications subject to weather or corrosion where the open end might allow moisture entry.
