Loctite MR 5009 is a red, fast-setting, hi-tack liquid sealant that holds pre-cut gaskets in place during assembly, prevents seizing, corrects alignment, and allows easy disassembly; it seals and bonds rubber, cork, paper, felt, metal, and asbestos gaskets and is operational up to 260 °C (500 °F), with proven resistance to common automotive and industrial fluids.
